Suppose we begin with the possible scientific definitions of these terms then. Reflection is the bouncing back of photons or a collection of lit rays, in layman’s terms. The shadow is formed when these rays of reflection get stuck to an object and cannot pass through it, which creates a shadow.
There are various forms of photography, beginning from the most basic forms to the advanced ones. In the same way, there is a form of photography that deals with managing various reflection effects. This can be made even more apparent when we begin talking of such a form of photography.
This photography is called shadow photography, and it is very descriptive and focuses more on the product’s shadow. This form of photography is influenced by an individual working of reflection, which can be managed on the objects like Shadow and Reflection Photography.
Two forms of reflection give different meanings to various photographs.
- Hard Reflection
These reflection have the simple objective of having a sharp and dark shadow of the object to be easily focused. This form of shadows gives a rigid and robust look of the things making it easier for the audience to concentrate on the product. The product shadow is very much evident and visible by the people. These forms of reflection are the perfect meaning for hard and clear emotions. It creates a relation of stiff imagery.
- Soft Reflection
This is the form of photography that allows passing a decent amount of reflection, which does not make a hard shadow of the object. This form of shadow photography enables the formation of shadow, which is smooth and non-sharpen. This form of photography allows the client to create a sense of welcoming and friendly vibe.
